| RL7653 tadpole tape uses a specially blended version of Flextra woven cloth treated with silicone aluminum resins to enhance higher temperature capabilities. The cover material is folded over a stainless steel mesh core and stitched with a high temperature sewing thread. The seal is recommended for use in applications where gas flow temperatures reach as high as 1000°F. Tadpole shaped seals are available in standard sizes of ½”, ¾” or 1" bulbs with tails of 2" or less. They are also available in custom-specified bulb diameters and tail widths. CFP tadpole tapes and seals are used for a wide range of sealing applications. Typical applications include: Aircraft compartments, oven and furnace doors, ducting access doors, dust and environmental control, hooded equipment, clean rooms, other vibration and thermal barriers and crucible lids.
